Alexander Kim is a dedicated advocate of affordable housing, serving as the President of the Orange County chapter board for the 23-24 year and also holding a vital role as the Co-Fundraising Committee Chair on the national board of the Dreams Come True Foundation. His journey into service began as a family-oriented individual with deep-rooted values, instilled during his early years helping at his parents’ Baltimore-based beauty supply business. His commitment to the cause extends back to his days as an active-duty military member while attending the United States Coast Guard Academy, where he honed his ‘Sail Ship’ mentality and leadership skills.
In 2003, Alexander ventured into the real estate industry, and his vast experience in mortgage, credit consulting, and real estate eventually led to the formation of HomeFirst Mortgage Bankers, a direct lending company, where he united a team of like-minded leaders. With a strong focus on teamwork, transparent communication, and unwavering integrity, Mr. Kim dedicates himself to the Dreams Come True Foundation, driven by his personal mantra: ‘If I can do it, then anyone can, and if I don’t do it, nobody will.’ His passion for serving the homeless and underserved communities through affordable housing solutions continues to shape the Foundation’s mission to make dreams come true for those in need.
